Call me Alyona, or... Leona!

I looooove photographing this life. So here's my first special project: I go out to meet and photograph amazing people like you, and then I share the photos — literally for free.

My dad photographed my whole life, and I was always right there with him — behind the camera.

I shoot everywhere I go — years of landscapes and wildlife in Alaska, portraits, food, events. But I always come back to my favorites, the unposed ones: moving, alive, a little out of my control. What I'm after is light and feeling. If a photo carries emotion, it worked.

So when you open your album, I hope you feel something and get curious enough to look at yourself from the outside. Real and alive.

My story starts in Ukraine, runs through Alaska, and continues in New Orleans — that's where you'll find me.
